Apply the concept of partitioning of physical DFDs.
Describe and apply the concept of partitioning of physical DFDs.
DFDs or Data Flow Diagrams are sometimes partitioned to better understand their flow. The partitioning is not a simple process of breaking down the DFD into ambiguous parts, instead it is a complex process. In an organization when the partitioning of a DFD is done it can be done in accordance to the different factors like timings, similarity, consistency or security that effect different processes.
In the field of software development the overall DFD of the whole process can be partitioned to multiple DFDs with a DFD for software design process, development process and analysis process each.
