Discuss why is it important to use logical and physical data flow diagram (DFDs)

Discuss why is it important to use logical and physical data flow diagram (DFDs) to graphically depict data movement for humans and systems in an organization. Is it worthwhile to share them with users? Why or why not?

The flow of data through an organization is an important aspect of the business process. The data flow diagrams provide us with an opportunity to better understand the business process from a broader view. It helps different people in an organization to anticipate the flow of different processes. It is in fact a brief overview of the interaction of different processes and what is the output of these processes.

I believe it is not worth to share the DFDs with the users because the users do not need to be informed about all the processes that take place inside an organization.
