Explain the difference between structured and semi-structured decisions.
Explain the difference between structured and semi-structured decisions.
Calculated decisions in the presence of required amount of information and well defined system goals are called structured decisions. These decisions can lead a system analyst to definite predictions of the system outcomes. Semistructured decisions on the other hand are made in the presence of mixed information. There are different parts of the information that lead towards a decisions. Some information is well defined in the form of defined tasks and traditions and some parts of information is based on human factors like perception and judgement (Remus & Kottemann, 1987).
