Yes, all firms should move towards green computing. The firms should consider it as their moral duty to move towards green computing hence helping the environment. There are many advantages of moving towards green computing. These advantages are helpful to protect the environment from the effects of global warming as well can save on valuable financial resources for the firms that move towards greener computing.

Firms that move towards greener computing, can utilize solar energy solutions. This does have an initial capital investment but can save on electricity bills. Companies can utilize software application on company’s computers that turn the computers off once they are left unattended for a certain amount of time. This will save on energy consumption and add to the hardware life of the computer resources.
