In a paragraph, describe what might happen if part of a system is prototyped and no user feedback about it is incorporated into the successive system.

Prototyping is a useful tool to make an accurate assessment about the specifications of the product or service as anticipated by the user (Gomaa & Scott, 1981). If user feedback is not acquired, there could be many negative consequences as the organization that is bringing the prototype to the users is thinking of bringing an alike product or service to the market on a larger scale. The prototype might be right away rejected by the users as it might not appeal to their needs. This would result in financial loses for an organization as prototyping is a money consuming process. This is also possible that the prototype is functional but it lacks fundamental functions that could have been suggested by the end users. So there could be a need to produce another prototype before a production on a larger scale
