The main threat posed by not involving the user in the prototyping process is that the prototype and may be the end product is right away rejected by the user. This is a real loss for a company in terms of user satisfaction and the investment that has been made on the prototyping process of the part of the system. We do not have any other way or process to know about the specific needs and expectations of the user if we do not prototype. Prototyping is and efficient way to know about the specific functions of the product or service that are expected by users (Gomaa & Scott, 1981). Therefore, user feedback is important to somehow anticipate the future look of the product or service that would bring in loyal users, not those who hate to use it.
