For a system analyst to successfully achieve these output objectives it is important to understand the specific and general requirements of the users. In other words, the system users have their expectations and the task of the system analyst is to understand these expectations and come up with system outputs that corresponds to these expectations. A proper engagement with the user is very necessary in the output design process.
