What are some advantages and disadvantages for a cause or effect essay?

What are some advantages and disadvantages for a cause or effect essay? Do you think such a paper is easy to write? Why or why not?

Writing a cause and effect essay is a good way to decide whether or not certain processes or ideas may be good, or bad. One advantage is that cause and effect papers can be great when helping try to solve a problem. It allows you to think of many different solutions and work out the effects of each of them within the same paper. This is great because it then allows you to compare different options and determine which may be better than others, based on the effects that come from the different causes. A disadvantage is that sometimes you can discover many different resolutions that may appear to work. This can end up confusing people with too many options that seem like they could be good. Another disadvantage to cause and effect essays is that you need to focus on many different things, rather than find one cause and effect and go very in depth. Instead, you briefly touch on each different cause and effect. I personally think these papers are easy to write. I think they are easy because all you need to do is list out different solutions to a problem, and explain what the effect of those solutions would be.
