Describe why some people say that consumers are not free to choose which products to purchase. Do you consider this to be an important issue? Why or why not?

When I hear this statement I think of a couple different things. First off, many people are not financially able to buy the most expensive products, and often have to buy the cheapest products due to financial constraint. Some people are so tight with money that they only have the choice to buy the cheapest of the cheap. I think this is an important issue, because many times the cheaper products have problems with them. For example, they may be made with cheaper products that could actually be harmful. This is not good because it puts disadvantaged people at a further disadvantage.
