Discuss the nine patterns of essay development and their importance to the writing process? Even though you haven’t gone into detail with all of the nine patterns, which one do you think you would like the most? Why?

Essay development could have different types of patterns to it.  Some of these important patterns of the essay development could be listed as:

A process type of an essay

A description type of an essay

Exemplification essay

Compare and contrast essay

Cause and Effect essay

I think it is good to sort of master these different types of essay development techniques because that would enable us to become better in our thinking and also to think in different directions and dimensions.
