Do you agree that there is little difference between emerging markets and developing countries? Why or why not?

I believe that emerging markets and developing countries are similar however I do not think that they are the same. An emerging market is a country that is going through rapid economic growth and industrialization. A developing country is a country that is seeking to become more advanced. I believe that a country with an emerging market can be considered a developing country, however all developing countries cannot be considered to have an emerging market. 82% of the world’s population is to be considered an emerging market.
