What benefits and problems does dynamic addressing?
Dynamic IP addressing have many advantages in computer networking. It removes a permanent IP address from client computers. In case a computer is moved from its present location in the network, a new IP address is assigned to it. Computers can be leased IP addresses with the help of dynamic IP address techniques.
The main disadvantage of dynamic IP addressing is that if you want your computer to act as a DNS server for FTP (file transfer protocol) the IP address changes with a reboot. This also resets the FTP connection and a re-login is required.
