Eureka staff answers the phone and respond to requests entered on the Eureka! Web site. Much of their work is spent on the phone and on computers searching on the Internet. They have just leased a new office building and are about to wire it. What media would you suggest they install in their office and why?

In my opinion they should use should use a LAN in their new office. To be more specific, they can use a shared Ethernet. The advantage of a share Ethernet is that it has the same bus serving all the hosts and the host compete with each other for bandwidth so that maximum bandwidth is utilized.

Using a LAN at the new office will let Eureka host computer to communicate with each other and also provide the clients an access to their internal resource like printers etc. LAN will help share the internet and other computer resources inside the organization hence providing a cost effective solution.
