What in your opinion are the most difficult challenges facing SMEs deciding to outsource?

In my opinion, one of the biggest challenges that SMEs would face while outsourcing would be the lack of manager control they have. When a company outsources, they have external employees working for them so it is hard to manage them as they are not really their own employees. This could cause many problems such as communication problems, extra time, or product errors. Also, if there is a problem with the people you are outsourcing with it could be critical to the company. They would have to make a costly and quick decision to switch where they are outsourcing to. I believe these are the biggest challenges the SMEs face with outsourcing but if the company looks at these problems before the process of outsourcing they could limit the challenges.
