Discuss what synectics in your own words. Provide an example of a situation when you would use synectics.

Synectics is a process that is used to solve problems creatively. In this process a lot of brainstorming is done. Self-conscious is utilized in this process. A lot of introspection is needed in synectics. Logical thinking is required in this process. A lot of pressure is required to be put on the mind to make it think creatively and come up with the most feasible solutions to the problem at hand.

For example let’s say we are required to respond to a disastrous situation. This would need a synectic thinking as quick and accurate decisions have to be made.
