Why the role of management is considered critical? Explain in detail.

The role of management is considered critical in any organization in general and strategic management context in particular. Management I expected to play two key roles. First is to provide a vision and then to guide the workforce to adapt to practical means to achieve the goals established in the vision. Strategic Management is responsible for defining the identity of a company in terms of what they want to achieve in short and long terms. Strategic management has to formulate an overall strategy for the organization and formulate actionable goals that are realistic and achievable. When targets are identified, strategic management then focuses on production and marketing goals.
