It is not necessary for immigration to continue due to the economic reasons, pull factors or other reasons as described by theories of international migration. Initially immigration starts due to one of the major reasons as described by the theories of immigration, however, once immigrants settle in the receiving countries, they form ethnic networks within the receiving country as well as their transnational ties with the family and friends from the same ethnic community in the sending country. These are the social structures that support the flow of migrants even when the original economic or other reasons have faded away. For example, a person settled in the receiving country brings his/her family, or helps his friends by informing them about the opportunities, giving them initial financial support, supporting them in accommodation etc.
