Why isn’t Disney fighting with 56.com?
Why is it difficult to stop pirated copyright materials from showing up on the Internet?
There are some countries in the world which do not recognize international copyrights laws in letter and spirit. China is among such countries. Because of not abiding by such laws and restrictions, these countries do not have a full IP control which is something that can be exploited by pirate software producers who spread pirated software all over the world. I think that China and other such countries will eventually recognize these laws because soon it will start to hurt their own economy.
Why are copyrights law useful in this situation?
We have to recognize the efforts inventors and other innovative thinkers make to bring about new solutions to problems the world faces from time to time. When these inventors have implemented an idea, its copyright must be protected so that they can make money out of it and others can be motivated. Copyrights law ensure the legal protection of software and other inventions and stop its pirated spread.
