Walmart will not become the dominant e-tailer in the world. Amazon will in fact dominate because it is solely and only based online. Amazon has received a hype that many people seem to follow and will continue to follow. Amazon is doing great in this sector and the stock market is exceeding expectations. Factors that would contribute to Walmart’s success online is the afford ability and how accommodating they are. They offer things that amazon is not able to. Like sending items to an actual store as oppose to amazon that doesn’t have physical stores. Walmart has many advantages because it offers a multitude of items and many know where it is coming from. A factor that would detract its ability to dominate online sales is the simple fact that consumers can physically go to an actual store and get what they want.
