What are the three groups of organizational fundamentals that carry implications for the development of information systems and which system do you feel has the most impact on the development.
The three groups of organizational fundamentals are:
- Levels of management: different levels like top management, managers, supervisors etc.
- Design of organization: What is the organization constituted of in terms of technologies and human resources etc.
- Factors like what is the leadership style and the organizational subcultures. Organization’s culture and subculture has a greater impact on the strategies that lead towards achieving goals that are set by the management.
In my opinion the most influential factor is the design of the organization as it requires to be update on regular basis. It involves the introduction of new Information technologies to maintain a vibrant information system.
