Case Study: Where did they get their ideas from?
Question: How might one or more of the theories we have discussed in the chapter explain how the above insights were obtained?
From the theories studied in the chapter, the theory that best explained the different insights depicted in the paragraph is cognitive theory of creativity. Creativity is the capacity to create unique work and thoughts. It begins with a creative individual utilizing an innovative procedure to make an imaginative (new) item. Innovativeness incorporates three critical segments. It begins with an imaginative individual who utilizes an innovative procedure to deliver an inventive (new) item. These individuals are generally vivacious and loaded with thoughts. As cognitive theory is worried with how the data is put away in the memory, the information processing hypothesis is most appropriate to the diverse revelations. The information processing theory is a cognitive tactic in order to understand how the mind of individual tend to transform the sensory information. This model takes into consideration that information which comes out from the environment is dependent on the cognitive processes outside of the simple pattern of stimulus response. In the examples provided in the case, this theory can be easily implemented with the help of series of two steps. For instance, from the environment, the input goes to the cognitive systems which are formerly measured by the output. Information which is received from the environment could take many paths which depend on the attention, recognition, encoding and storage. On the other hand, the feature of central executive controls how much the data is being handled. This theory is best suited to the case because it looks at all the real time responses to current stimuli while depicting how the human mind transforms the information collected from the environment.
