What are some differences when writing an exemplification paper versus a research paper? Which one would you prefer to write? Why?

An exemplification essay is a type of paper that argues one side of something. While it is arguing something, it uses very specific examples to prove the point and to convince the audience of the point that you are trying to get across. A research paper is a paper that is your own interpretation or evaluation of an argument. In research papers the author focuses on finding facts that researchers have already found about a topic, and tries to explain them more. I prefer to write research papers because I have been writing them for quite some time now. Also, i like using factual information because it makes it a lot easier to prove a point, or to back up research.
