Identify and discuss the social responsibilities of a company.

The social responsibility of a company is its ethical responsibility too. A company operates in a certain environment and certain communities. This is where they get their different resources and this is where they earn profits. Therefore, to remain sustainable, companies must recognize their responsibilities to give back to these communities. This could be in different forms and shapes. For example providing water filtration plants, building health facilities, establishing technical training institutions and many more forms. Fulfilling social responsibility is also necessary for the sustainability of the company itself. For example if a company provides training to the inhabitants of a society, they may prove to be useful future workers for the company in the long term.
