Describe two major issues that are important in organizational design.

There could be a number of issues that might be considered important in organizational design and one of them could be the way things are structured and organized at the work place. What this means is that there often might be some sort of a hierarchy per which the different members of the workplace are expected to perform or carry out there duties.  Then in addition to this, the other aspect that might also be important in organizational design is that of the rules and processes that are created to make the workplace that much more effective and efficient.  This could be in terms of when employees come to work, what job duties or tasks have been assigned or given to the different employees based on the sort of skills or the inherent competencies that they have and so forth. So all of these are important but key aspects of the larger organizational design.
