What are the main sections of a research article?

Research article consist of four broad sections including; introduction, methodology, result and discussion. Every section is further divided in sub sections like in introduction there is thesis statement, literature review or back ground. Methodology contains sample, data and measures. The third important section is result section and he last one is discussion section.
