No Child Left Behind: Explained & Summarized

The given video provides an explanation and summary of the “No Child Left Behind Act”. It described the pros and cons of this act and explained the way in which this law impacted teachers, schools, students and administrators. From the analysis of the given video, I found that No Child Left Behind Act is a federal law which provides money for the educational assistance for poor children who wants to study in return for the improvements in their academic progress. This law affects every public school in the United States. The main goal of this law is to provide better education to students that come under poverty, belongs to minority group, children who do not understand English. According to me, this act has changed the education system and make so much improvement in it and make able to poor children to take the good education from a reputed school.

It provides the several educational opportunities for the disadvantaged students. This policy helps in improving education for ELL’s and the state can also easily track and report a number of students that attaining English proficiency each year. It tests the mathematical and linguistic abilities of all the students and makes sure that everyone in the school system progresses together. It helps in improving the education system. It also helps in improving the proficiency of the English Language Learners. I think one of the important benefits of this act is that it boosts confidence and increase the comfort level of children in which students can ask their questions from teachers.

I am in support of NCLB as it helps in improving the quality of public education for all the students studying in different school. This act provides several benefits such as in this parent get detailed report of student’s achievement, focuses on quality education to all students, measures educational status and growth, emphasizes reading, writing, and math, set standard for teacher qualification.

Polyglot Interview on CTV: How to raise Multilingual Children in Five Languages

In this video, an interview is taken from Polyglot who knows more than one language. This video presented a child who is ten years old and knows five different languages. This video also described the way of raising multilingual children in 5 languages. Polyglot is a person who knows and able to use several languages. In this, people learn the different languages from each other who belongs to different culture and country. I think it is the best way to know about the culture of different people and also helps in improving the relationship with other culture people having a different language.

It has several advantages as it provides the opportunity for people to learn a new language and to know different people. Personally, knowledge of several languages provides a lot of benefits in which not only our brains work differently but we are also able to improve some cognitive skills. by this way, our brain thinks faster inappropriate way. The people who know several languages cannot face difficulty in other countries or places as they easily communicate with people of that area and easily mix up with them. A person who speaks several languages has the extra ability to learn other things easily. It also provides a traveling opportunity for people. The people can go where they want and communicate with different culture people having a different language. I think that polyglot can easily overcome with some cultural barriers. Also, when a person goes to a foreign country then they easily speak the language of that country and people of that country will be pleasant to that person. The other benefit is that people can easily do business to other countries people. It provides them with a good opportunity to get money and make their good career in some other country. According to me, it is beneficial as it provides the ability to be more productive.
